Kitchens
With an eye for good design and attention to detail we are sure you will find that what we produce is to your liking. Because we are not bound by unit sizes we can adapt your designs to suit your needs. If you want a dishwasher and a sink in your island, no problem. If you want to hide the microwave we can do that too. Cupboards can be made to any size to contain unsightly items such as boilers so that the design of the kitchen inspolit and seamless.
We are regulary asked to copy existing interior mouldings and door designs to make your kitchen just that little more unique and to fit in better with its surroundings. We use a variety of timbers when making our kitchens and we can source most species providing it is practical. We encourage the use of timber and granite worktops, tops such granite, marble, glass etc all require templating and are always fitted by recommended professional companies.

Cabinets
Our painted cabinets are made from tulipwood however we sometimes use maple as a superior substitute. We use MDF where we feel it is unsuitable to use solid wood (painted door panels and side panels). Solid wood doors can be made from hard or softwood depending on their suitability and availability. Where solid wood doors are required, door panels are made from the same stock as the door components. All timbers are from sustainable sources.
Construction Methods

 |
Drawers are dovetailed. |
Doors and frames are of mortise and tenon construction. |
Superior wood veneered carcasses |
We regularly use superior wood veneered boards for carcasses and spray them to suit your requirements. We also use MDF to make the carcasses if they are to be painted with the kitchen after installation.
Once the doors and frames are assembled and when they are dry they are sanded and sprayed with two coats of hardwearing primer. When the primer is dry, the frame is applied to the carcass. The door is then hung on brass or nickel butts inside the frame with an even gap all the way around.
Finally the door furniture is applied. The cabinet is now complete and ready to be fitted.
Finishing
Most of our kitchens are hand painted once installed, Lacquered finishes are popular and can be quoted should it be required.
